Hello class! Here is a rough draft of my Project Infrastructure and Risk Management plan:
Project Infrastructure and Risk Management
THE PROJECT TEAM
Project Name: Pilot Angels Project
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Husky Air would like to have a computer-based system to keep track of all its Pilot Angels volunteers. This system would include basic information about pilots including their name, address, phone number, flight hours, and ratings. In an effort to recognize the volunteer pilots, the system should include the following:
· The pilot who flew the flight
· The passengers onboard
Project Measurable Organizational Value (MOV)
Summarizing the MOV
The purpose of this business case is to lay out the Tiger Team’s strategy for establishing a computer-based system for the Pilot Angels project and any risk, time, and financial investment involved in the project. The goal is to increase the volunteer rate amongst pilots in the area, grow the service, and increase reliability. As a result, Pilot Angels’ will be able to provide faster service for customers in need of critical assistance. The system will also create a better platform for customers to schedule appointments, all while reducing the time it takes for services to be performed. Lastly, Husky Air will establish a great reputation for its Pilot Angels program and increase the number of lives saved.
Project Resources Required
Husky Air has decided that a custom-built information system (IS) is going to provide the most value to the organization. The Tiger Team consulting firm has been selected as the vendor for the development of this IS.
