FILM REVIEW ASSIGNMENT
A good Film Review will include a review on and discussion of the Films main points; a reflection on the techniques used and an evaluation of the Films strengths and weaknesses. In addition discuss how influential or the lack of is the Film in terms of changing the way people might think about the subject matter and related debates. Throughout include short references the Film episodes or sciences to illustrate your points and your assessment of the Films main idea and/or argument. Use your main book for this class: Film Studies: An Introduction by by Ed Sikov as your main source in addition to any additional relevant scholarly sources you find useful. Guidelines: Length: (a minimum of two pagessingle-spaced typed and written in college formal language very organized). Use standard format of a Film review including: Film title Producer and Directors name Main Actor/Actress date and total minutes of the Film include any awards the Film received. Use MLA Format. Due Dates: Tuesday March 21 2017 at 3:00 PM share in class (no late submission will be accepted). Only hard copies will be accepted. – To avoid inadvertent plagiarism all sources used must be properly documented within your paper with a bibliography or a works cited page at the end. – Write on the upper left corner of the paper your name course title and professors name as well as date.
