What are the important steps to becoming a good reader?

    Due in 6-7 hours, after the initial post,  i will send two post of other students, so you can reply them. Initial post should be 200-250 words and replies should be 75-100 words each.  

     

     

     

    After reading chapter 2, “Main Ideas,” and viewing the video (Main Ideas) link below, please respond to the following questions:

     

    Now that you have learned some of the skills on how to be a good thinker and reader, what are the most important things you need to understand when looking for the main idea?  What are the important steps to becoming a good reader?  After this lesson, do you think you are able to easily recognize the main idea of a reading selection?
